Re: A SEAL's Surrender (4:12pm March 12, 2013):

Great point, Vicki. I'm glad you're okay with pets in stories :-)

Re: A SEAL's Seduction (1:52am January 9, 2013):

HI Peggy and thanks :-) I'm with you on what makes a keeper. I love your
philosophy of sharing, too, and questing for more great books to read. I do
hope you check out A SEALs Seduction and enjoy it enough that you do
remember it fondly :-)

Happy 2013!! I hope it's a fabulous one.

Re: A SEAL's Seduction (1:51am January 9, 2013):

Awww, Anna :-D Thanks, first off!

Some stories are so awesome to listen to in audiobook. There is an extra
wow factor that a deep male voice can add, too *g*

Re: A SEAL's Seduction (1:49am January 9, 2013):

Clare, good point! The Pillars of the Earth sounds like a great book, too.

Re: Breaking the Rules (10:40am February 13, 2011):

Ivy, that is so cool that you have your own custom drink :-D I love the name, too!

Re: Breaking the Rules (10:39am February 13, 2011):

You and me, both, Pam! Have you ever tried a pomegranate margarita? Ohhhhhhh so good!

Re: Breaking the Rules (10:38am February 13, 2011):

Sigrun, what a lovely memory! Champagne it is, then :-)

Re: Breaking the Rules (10:37am February 13, 2011):

Oh Sandra, your very own drink? I love the name!!! It's romantic and kinda sexy :-)

But tea is great, too. I couldn't live with out it LOL

Re: Breaking the Rules (10:36am February 13, 2011):

What a fun birthday treat, Amanda :-)

And a happy (early) Valentine's Day to you, too. I hope yours is fabulous!

Re: Breaking the Rules (10:35am February 13, 2011):

Cheers, Linda, and thanks!!!

Wine it is :-)

Re: Breaking the Rules (10:34am February 13, 2011):

Hi Patricia :-)

I haven't heard of a Velvet Glove. I'll have to look that one up. But wine or Irish coffee do sound quite celebrational!

Re: Breaking the Rules (9:58am February 13, 2011):

Tea it is, Mary :-)

And these really are fun names to read, aren't they? They would be even more fun to put into a story *g*

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:58pm February 12, 2011):

Hi Ann :-)

Yay, another fellow tea drinker. We should have a tea party *g* My husband is a big Dr. Pepper drinker, and did you ever see that they made Dr. Pepper Slurpees?

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:57pm February 12, 2011):

Thanks, Laurie :-)

I hope you enjoy your wine and have a fab Valentine's Day!

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:57pm February 12, 2011):

Leni, green tea is great!!

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:56pm February 12, 2011):

ROFL Pamela ;-) Glad you clarified that *ggg*

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:56pm February 12, 2011):

Hi Pam :-D

Blow Job and Sex on the Beach... that's a great combination LOL

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:55pm February 12, 2011):

Hey Lynn :-)

YAY - so glad you'll be at the party!! I think it'll be lots of fun. I haven't tasted the Harvey Wallbanger, but anything with an Orange Julius has to taste so yummmmmmy.

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:53pm February 12, 2011):

Hi Peggy :-)

First off- Happy Anniversary and a Happy Birthday to your husband :-D This must be THE fun weekend of your year, right? I hope you celebrated and had a lot of fun!!

Thank you so much for the congrats :-)

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:51pm February 12, 2011):

Oh man, Mary Ann, I totally forgot about about Sloe Comfortable Screw! That's the first 'naughty' named drink I ever ordered.

So being a former bartender, you're the lady to ask :-) How do these names come about? Is there a prerequisite for a drink to be naughty? And how did people usually order them - blushing, or with a straight face? :-D I'm so curious now!

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:43pm February 12, 2011):

LOL Barbara. I often fantasize that my regular ole tea is something stronger. But I drink a couple of gallons a day, so that would severely impede both my writing, and my liver health *g* So, yes, lets fantasize for sure!!

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:42pm February 12, 2011):

Hey G. :-)

Jasmine Tea does invoke the image of romance, doesn't it? Soothing and relaxing, even.

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:41pm February 12, 2011):

Hi June :-)

Restrictions are rough, aren't they? And when it comes to the drink names, I'm with you - what is the requirement for a drink to have a naughty name? What, specifically, makes it worthy of being so wild?

Gotta wonder :-)

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:39pm February 12, 2011):

Tracie, Hey there :-)

I haven't seen the Blow Job drank that way before. Then again, I didn't know that was a drink until today *g* I'm such a klutz though, that'd make drinking a major challenge.

It is fun to watch faces, isn't it?! Half the enjoyment of drinks like this is the shock value of ordering :-D

Thanks so much for the luck and congrats :-)

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:36pm February 12, 2011):

Kathleen, a smart woman knows her alcohol limits :-) it sounds like you've nailed yours down for sure!

and isn't he gorgeous? I do love my cover hero. Thank you!

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:35pm February 12, 2011):

ROFL Cynthia :-D Go you on the Sex on the Beach... and the drink *g* I hope you enjoy all the drinks this weekend -and have fun with the beginning of NASCAR!

fingers crossed for a win *ggg* And WoOOoot for those Military Hotties!!!

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:30pm February 12, 2011):

Coffee it is, Joanne :-D

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:30pm February 12, 2011):

Diane, aren't local wines fabulous? We have quite a few in my area (I live just outside Napa Valley). And a frosty cold margarita in the hot summer? Perfect!

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:28pm February 12, 2011):

Hey Dawn :-) I'm having Pinot Grigio tonight myself :-D

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:28pm February 12, 2011):

Hi Jane :-) Thank you! Isn't champagne the best go-to indulgence? I always feel like I'm celebrating when I drink champagne. And fruity drinks are the yum.

Re: Breaking the Rules (11:24pm February 12, 2011):

LOL Patricia :-) I think ordering a naughty drink while keeping a straight face is a special skill *g* I tend to laugh. Actually, I've tried the Buttery Nipple before- it's not bad :-) A little on the sweet side, though.

Re: Breaking the Rules (9:02pm February 12, 2011):

Mai Tai? I don't know what it means either... hmmm. Research time :-D

But great drink list! I think my fave of those is the margarita, sans virginity LOL

Re: Breaking the Rules (9:01pm February 12, 2011):

Hi Colleen :-) I love anything strawberry, so high five on the strawberry daqs. I had fun looking at drink names, too. There are some crazy ones out there, that's for sure :-)

Re: Breaking the Rules (9:00pm February 12, 2011):

Stacie, those Shirley Temples are pretty good, aren't they? I wonder if some of the drinks you couldn't get virgin style? I can just imagine the bartender trying to figure out a virgin Get Laid Lemonade LOLOL

Re: Breaking the Rules (8:58pm February 12, 2011):

Get Laid Lemonaid,Maria? LOL that is so catchy! Naked Lady and G Spot are new to me (I wonder how they decide what to put in these drinks?) but I've ordered Absolutely Horny before and it wasn't bad :-)

Enjoy your red wine!!

Re: Breaking the Rules (8:51pm February 12, 2011):

Oooh, Susan. Yum. I've had chocolate martinis and lemon, but never strawberry. I do love strawberry margaritas though!

Re: Breaking the Rules (8:34pm February 12, 2011):

Cheers, Minna :-D

I'm always a fan of tea!

Re: Breaking the Rules (8:33pm February 12, 2011):

Hey Christine :-D

Waving from one iced tea gal to another :-)

I am a little ashamed to say I hadn't heard of a Blow Job before (the kind with the upper case title of a drink letters, that is). I wonder how many guys order that LOL.

Cum in a Hot Tub I had heard of, but hadn't tried. It does sound yummy *g* You have to figure those bartenders are experts at keeping a straight face when they serve up these drinks, right?

Re: Breaking the Rules (8:27pm February 12, 2011):

Hi Leanna :-)

How cool - unsweetened iced black tea is my day to day, by the gallon drink :-D LOVE it!

Re: Feels Like The First Time (1:58am August 27, 2009):

Oh man, I was in the wrong place all day *g* I kept hanging out over at the blogger Fresh Fiction blog - my oops!!

I LOVE all these great costume ideas! You guys are so clever and creative in your inner self costumes!!
