I love scones...with fruit, spices, or just plain. I top them with jams or jellies,
clotted creme, or melted butter. No matter how I serve them, I love scones!

Right now we are enjoying rain...I know people want the rain to go away, but
having gone through water shortage drought in Central Valley California, I
can put up with a little rain! So, with outdoor chores on hold, I am finishing
writing bills, giving bathroom and kitchen the once over, and read a few
chapters in my latest book. It's a good day!

I am very excited by this book. I'm partial to British themes, and this one is
one I'm truly interested. I enjoyed 'Death of a Mad Hatter' ....clever and fun
read, so I know this one will be, too.
