Re: The Girl Who Saved Ghosts (11:22am October 21, 2017):

I definitely enjoy series so sequels are great, tho I do like
the main points closed out for each book.

Re: Miriam (3:29pm March 18, 2016):

Yep, I know many ladies that are very spry for their age. I
met most of them through the world of weaving and other
fiber arts. They are use to working hard with their hands
and also being creative. They often have other lives - a
pilot, an archeobotanist, etc.

Re: Romancing the Ranger (3:24pm March 18, 2016):

I use to write these pretty boring government reports that
could be a bit technical, and absolutely had to be
accurate. I found that techno music was a great background,
assisting me in the writing.

Re: The Lingering Grace (3:21pm March 18, 2016):

I always wondered what happened after the end of Stardust
by Neil Gaiman. Does their kingdom fall apart? Civil
War? Or continued happiness for another 100 years?

I had the pleasure of hearing Cherie Priest talk about
Mapelcroft, which she felt was a stand alone story, but
she signed a 2 book deal. So she had to come up with a
sequel, Chaplewood. Both novels were excellent and each
stood alone.

Re: The Highwayman (5:49pm September 1, 2015):

A belly-dancing law enforcer! Oh my! Lithe, with excellent
balance, and armed. I would be worried.... if I were a
criminal.

Re: From Russia Without Love (5:47pm September 1, 2015):

Jason Statham could use a serious role for his talents.
Also, we need a few femme fatales - Angelie Jolie, Michelle
Yeoh, and Katee Sackhoff.

Re: Darkest Misery (8:39pm August 13, 2015):

The weapons. Definitely the weapons.

Re: Oathkeeper (9:08pm June 19, 2015):

I like the ghoul stories that have cropped up lately,
especially the ghoul urban fantasy stuff. For example,
That Ghoul Alva by TW Brown is a lot of fun.

Re: A Matter of Time (9:06pm June 19, 2015):

Riding on a Donkey by Great Big Sea. It makes me laugh
because donkeys decide who rides.

Re: Siren's Call (9:03pm March 19, 2015):

I've long been fascinated by chimeras and the mermaid is not the
least of them. Do they have cool blood or hot blood? Do they lay
eggs or carry a child in the womb? Yep, plenty to contemplate
about mermaids.

Re: The Perilous Journey of the Not-So-Innocuous Girl (9:01pm March 19, 2015):

Haha! My dress would probably get ruined following someone into
the cellar. I'm too curious and believe myself to be sneaky.

Re: It's A Vampire Christmas (9:00pm December 15, 2014):

Gargoyles & vampires! Sounds like my kind of book!
