The past sometimes will not stay in the past as Magnolia Lavigne and Ezra Hunt soon find out. Though he disappeared years ago and broke her heart Ezra is back and finds himself FIGHTING FOR MAGNOLIA as he should have all that time ago.
Ezra is back in New Orleans and when he goes to rescue a woman in danger, he is shocked to find that it is Magnolia. Now he’s prepared to protect her – it is after all what he does for a living – however, this has more to do with memories of the heart than with protection.
Successful entrepreneur Magnolia has made her life good and moved on after the teenage Ezra had broken her heart and left her pregnant. But now she has a stalker, one that doesn’t just want her – he wants her dead. The last thing she expects is to find Ezra Hunt, back in her life and about to get the biggest shock of his life.
FIGHTING FOR MAGNOLIA by Katie Reus is the fourth in her Redemption Harbor Security series. This is the story of Magnolia from a wealthy family and Ezra from the wrong side of the tracks. They were torn apart, and Magnolia raised their son. A son he didn’t know about and now that son is looking at colleges. Both thinking the other had done the breaking off, they had reluctantly moved on with their lives. The truth does come out and the love that they had between them all those years ago is still there.
The plot is action-packed with a lot of danger and intrigue, twists and turns, a touch of the past and characters that are interesting and realistic. The stalker is an inventive twist that fans won’t see coming. The romance is a cross between a new, just-started one and a second chance. I say this because they loved as teens, both had grown up and changed so it has a feel of new romance, because they have to get to know one another again.
FIGHTING FOR MAGNOLIA will have readers on the edge of their seats as they cheer the couple to the HEA that they so deserve. The dialogue and interaction of all the characters are pleasant, intense and exactly what romance suspense fans love to read. The romantic moments are sweet yet steamy as is Ms. Reus’ style.
This is a stand-alone but really once you have read FIGHTING FOR MAGNOLIA, I believe you will want to get your hands on all of the Redemption Harbor Security offerings.
SUMMARY

Now she runs a successful company in New Orleans and her son is picking out colleges—but someone is lurking in the shadows, stalking her every move. And they won't stop until she's six feet under.

Security expert Ezra has just discovered the woman he never got over had their child years ago. Magnolia's family lied to him, to both of them, and if he wants a place in their lives, he's going to have to prove that he didn't leave without a reason—all while keeping her safe from a deadly stalker who will do anything to destroy everything she loves.
Author note: All books in the Redemption Harbor Security series may be read as stand-alone romances with HEAs and no cliffhangers.
