A lot happens in only 142 pages and many readers will wish it were that much longer but the story is complete and very well done. The vivid writing style of Ms. Grant will give you the feeling of not only seeing the action but feeling as though you are experiencing it right there with the characters. The blending of the Celtic and Norse traditions is well done and gives readers a touch of the two worlds as well as bringing those into a paranormal magical setting. Though REIGN is the finale it can be read as a standalone as the back story is explained well enough to follow along. You will, of course, want to grab the others in this series, RAGE and RUIN, for the amazing reads that they are.
