Romance Paranormal | Romance Fantasy | Romance Historical

Marlene is a powerful and respected Lady of the Varroki but after a battle, she wakes up in Norway as Dagny, a witch with no memories of her real life. Amir, a warrior and former right hand to Marlene, has searched for her after her disappearance. Once he finds her and discovers that she is no longer the woman he loves, he must help her find herself. If he can't accomplish this who will rule over the Varroki world? How will the people of Varroki, and most importantly, how will he survive?

REIGN is the final offering of author Donna Grant's Kindred: The Fated series. In this series, she has blended Scottish and Norse myths together to bring readers to this wonderful world. The romance is perfectly written with a lot of danger and intrigue as it is a forbidden love for these characters. Enemies can be found around every corner, but Ms. Grant pulls the adventure and romance all together in a read that will help her fans escape and enjoy this world...

A lot happens in only 142 pages and many readers will wish it were that much longer but the story is complete and very well done. The vivid writing style of Ms. Grant will give you the feeling of not only seeing the action but feeling as though you are experiencing it right there with the characters. The blending of the Celtic and Norse traditions is well done and gives readers a touch of the two worlds as well as bringing those into a paranormal magical setting.

Though REIGN is the finale it can be read as a standalone as the back story is explained well enough to follow along. You will, of course, want to grab the others in this series, RAGE and RUIN, for the amazing reads that they are.

SUMMARY

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Donna Grant blends the magic of Scottish and Norse tradition in the final installment of her acclaimed Kindred: The Fated series.

Magic holds both beauty and danger…

As Lady of the Varroki, Malene was powerful and revered. But after a battle, she awakens in Norway as Dagny, a witch with no memories of her past. Her identity fragmented, Dagny finds herself entangled in a life far removed from the path she once trod and seduced by the lure of power. Until that need shifts to passion for the one who has imprisoned her, hoping to make her remember.

As a warrior and the Lady’s right hand, Armir will not stop searching for Malene. When he does, she’s not the woman he remembers. Driven by an undying love that transcends the boundaries of time and space, Armir risks everything for her. But enemies lurk in the shadows, waiting to strike. Will he and Malene overcome their pasts to find a future together?
