If you are in the mood for charming if somewhat taciturn cowboys and feisty heroines who tame them then HE’S MY COWBOY will have everything you can ever want. Authors Diana Palmer, Rebecca Zanetti, and Delores Fossen bring a trilogy of great reads all in one book.
"The Hawk’s Shadow" is Diana Palmer at her best. A forensic investigator is needed an expert is sent to Colorado much to Gil Barnes, a sheriff’s investigator’s consternation. A few minutes on the phone has him regretting the call. Face to face it’s a bit better, but Nemara Landreth sometimes says things without thinking, despite the rocky beginning they are able to work together to solve an old crime.
I loved how Nemara was so realistic – as in not perfect – and that she and Gil quickly learned they have a lot in common. Including their original choice of pets. A very good, too-quick read!
"Rescue: Rancher Style" by Rebecca Zanetti brings fans to Redemption and Greg Simpson following a stint in the Marines who is now the heir to the family ranch and guardian to teens. He is a bit lost but when he finds his first love still there and in danger he knows what to do.
This is a very good second chance romance. Greg knows how to handle everything but family and love, so Tara just has to teach him and everything works out. If she can survive the danger!
"A Cowboy Kind of Romance" is Delores Fossen’s offering. Brenna had spent eight years in the Air Force and is ready to come home. Little does she know that her family and friends in the little town of Loveland, Texas, are up to their necks in matchmaking plans. Plans that Theo is not completely against.
This is a fun read as we watch poor Brenna fighting an uphill battle against all the matchmaking and Theo who really has no plans of losing her again is right there with all of those doing the matching.
HE’S MY COWBOY offers three authors, and three different stories but all with cowboys, hometowns, sassy women, and romance! Something for everyone!
