Trevor McCall is very interested in Jenna Malone, but there are a couple of things that he has to worry about. Will Jenna find out she is LOVING THE WOLF or will her brother and fellow SWAT member break him apart?
When a werewolf finds "the One," what can he do but believe that it is meant to be? But how will they manage? Trevor is in Texas and Jenna is in Los Angeles. When Jenna asks him to visit, Trevor takes a chance. Either it is real or it is wishful thinking. But Trevor finds L.A. is more dangerous than he expected and it will take his whole team to save the woman who is his.
LOVING THE WOLF is Paige Tyler's SWAT series at the supernatural wildest. I have no idea where this author comes up with her ideas or her creatures but this one came out of nowhere. If you are expecting his buddy to try to wipe the floor with Trevor it goes beyond that.
Aside from the dangerous creatures that lurk underneath, Jenna had suffered a trauma, stemming from when her sister disappeared, and Jenna's parents abandoned her thinking she had lost her mind when she said creatures were real. Now she works as a makeup artist in the movie world, but sculpts monsters on the side as her way of coping with the world. She is the perfect match for a werewolf, though she is not happy that Trevor and her brother Connor have been keeping the truth about what they really are from her.
LOVING THE WOLF is well-written, and action-packed, with enough dialogue that lets readers get to know the characters better, and has a lot of steamy romance. If you haven't read any of the SWAT series, LOVING THE WOLF can be read as a stand-alone, but I would bet you will go looking for more from this author.
The problem with Jenna Malone is that she's werewolf Trevor McCall's best SWAT buddy's sister. Trevor suspects she's The One, but how the heck can he make a move? When Jenna invites Trevor to visit her in Los Angeles, he has his chance.
But what's hiding in LA is much more dangerous and complicated than any of the SWAT team could have guessed, and Jenna's right in the middle of it…
