Rick Savage, former assassin and member of Walker Securities is finally getting everything he has ever wanted in life. Most of all, he is getting Candace Marks as his wife. The picture-perfect wedding, dream honeymoon ... and an old "friend" who wants something from him. Is there to be only a SAVAGE ENDING or a happily ever after?
Savage, the foul-mouthed assassin, wants to leave that world behind, but he has one last job to do for an old "friend". He owes the guy for his life three times over and this is the final favor. A simple pick-up and deliver - but of course in black ops - nothing is simple.
SAVAGE ENDING is the perfect ending to Savage and Candace's story. We get the picture-perfect wedding, with both of them dealing with jitters just as any couple would, and leaves the readers wanting to cry - just as you would at a friend's wedding and maybe laugh just a bit as the Savage reaction to the hoopla. Everything goes smoothly, even Candace's father lets Savage know he hopes they will one day be more father and son-like. (That might be hard for Savage as it was the father-in-law who got him into black ops in the first place.) But as you might guess the job that Savage did is not really over.
SAVAGE ENDING is the fourth and final of the Savage series, but as a fan, I am hoping we catch glimpses of him in future Walker Securities books. If you have read the previous books (SAVAGE HUNGER, SAVAGE BURN and SAVAGE LOVE) you will see this finale give Savage and Candace a lovely wedding, a very interesting honeymoon, intrigue, danger and family support that will have you smile and perhaps cry a bit - because they finally (after a decade of waiting) become man and wife!
