Although this is fifth in the Ling series, it can be read as a stand-alone book with absolutely no problem. The back story of Catherine and Cameron is covered well with no detraction from the intricate, action- driven plot.
Johansen has created fascinating characters on both sides of the moral line. Her complex but captivating plotting brings readers along for an exciting ride.
