THE FOREVER CHRISTMAS TREE
is the first book in the Bell Sound series by Sandra Hill and is a contemporary holiday romance
novel. A story of love, loss, and second chances. Hill writes with humor
and heart making this a book that you are sure to get lost in. THE FOREVER CHRISTMAS TREE is
the type of story that makes you want to sit in a comfy chair in front of
a fire with a cup of hot tea!
Hill has created a group of characters that are well-developed with
interesting backstories that are relatable. Characters that are realistic
and you can see yourself being friends with or they remind you of
someone you know. You are sure to have a few that you favor more than
others but all are shine on their own. There are a few I did want to
shake or slap some sense into.
The setting has a gorgeous Christmas backdrop with loads of
Christmas celebrations and lots of romantic angst. Plus a few steamy
romantic scenes that are sure steam up your glasses and require oven
mitts to hold the pages. Who doesn't love a good romance at
Christmas?
THE FOREVER CHRISTMAS TREE
is a captivating romance that is sure to draw you in from the beginning
and hold your attention until the very end. A romance story that is sure
to stay with you long after you read the last page, the last word. I highly
recommend THE FOREVER CHRISTMAS
TREE to anyone who loves a steamy romance with a hint of
Christmas magic.
The Christmas bells are chiming across the Outer Banks
town of Bell Cove, North Carolina, but there’s one local
‘grinch’ who’s not listening . . .
He’s got bad-boy looks and a Bah Humbug attitude, so when
the local paper asks the villagers to vote on the “Biggest
Local Grinch” as a fund-raising project, Ethan Rutledge
isn’t surprised to hear he’s made the ballot. He might own
the local Christmas Tree Farm, but the holiday hasn’t been
welcome in his home since Wendy Patterson left him
heart-broken twelve years ago.
But now Wendy’s back, fresh from a tour of duty as a female
Navy SEAL. She’s bold, beautiful, and has five Navy buddies
trailing after her—as if she needs a bodyguard! And what’s
all this about them wanting to start a treasure hunting
company right here in Bell Cove’s failing bell factory? Then
Wendy learns about how Ethan’s been nurturing the one thing
he has to remember her by: a gorgeous Norway Spruce tree.
Can the magic of Christmas and the spirit of the town help
rekindle the romance between two people who thought they’d
left love behind years ago?
