Romance Paranormal

Landry Cooper, of the Dallas Police SWAT division, had dealt with a bombing, he was exhausted, but had to go to the bank to deposit a cheque. The line seemed endless, but a gorgeous woman, Everly Danu, flirts with him, then asks him to dinner; for the first time in his life, Cooper is tongue-tied. His day was beginning to look up when he hears someone saying that a hold-up was about to happen. Cooper's werewolf senses go on high alert; in the end he saves the day, gets the girl, until he loses the girl... I love the SWAT series, I love Paige Tyler, and now multiply this tenfold! In TO LOVE A WOLF, Ms. Tyler raises the creation of characters to a real art form! Within a few pages, she carefully and succinctly defined with laser-like precision what Cooper and Everly are all about, and I loved them and rooted for them. Although I knew both would survive the initial crisis, I really cared about them. The opening chapters are the best Paige Tyler has ever written, and it only gets better from there! The chemistry between Cooper and Everly is off the charts, the sex scenes are amazingly well written, there are some deeply emotional moments as well, and the story is as solid and as exciting as they come with many twists and turns. The romance is totally convincing and charming in the best way possible; I caught myself smiling many times until, well, let's say there are some unusual bumps in the road for our lead characters, which made for superb reading. TO LOVE A WOLF would work splendidly as a suspense novel, it would be equally successful as a paranormal romance, but combining both in such a way is a dream come true for this reader: Paige Tyler is da bomb!

Re: Paige Tyler hits all the right notes!

Terrific, I've read the book and loved it. One of the best series around paranormal or otherwise.
