Romance Contemporary

No one likes her cowboys better than Carolyn Brown, and her humor is what has garnered her many a fan. A Brown title immediately catches your interest and sets the mood for the tale that lays between the cover. Each page is characteristically tongue and cheek a Brown writing trait to be sure. Any writer who proudly and boldly titles a book HELL, YEAH has definitely won me over. ONE TEXAS COWBOY TOO MANY is another catchy and bold story ripe with humor and chaos. I loved it from page one—a motorcycle with bull horns—ridden by a cowboy no less. Well hang on to your seats for the latest by Carolyn Brown.

ONE TEXAS COWBOY TOO MANY is book three in the Burnt Boot series. The stars are Leah Brennan and Rhett O'Donnell with a very rich supporting cast of characters many from previous books. Carolyn Brown deftly paints a picture that details events of the past and then moves rapidly to the present. In Burnt Boot there are two very influential families: the Brennan's and the Gallagher's. Their ranches are separated by Polly's ranch—thank goodness. You see the Brennan's and Gallagher's just can't get past their hatred and move on. Talk about feuds—these two families stay up nights plotting against each other.

Sad part is that each generation seems to get sucked into the feuding even though they would love to move on. Leah Brennan is sick and tired of the feud and disgusted at the role she is cast. Her grandmother just won't relinquish control even though her grandchildren are now all adults. This control is what is surely driving a wedge in the relationship between Leah and her grandmother.

Rhett O'Donnell arrives in town to work at Polly's ranch and because of his attraction to Leah he finds himself almost immediately entrenched in the towns feuding mess. But Rhett is determined to see if his feelings for Leah can grow into something more. The two of them are good together and good for each other. At times it almost feels as if they are on an unending path of blockades.

The good people of Burnt Boot have never taken a chance to side against either of the feuding families. Something needs to be done or it will carry over to the next generation, and the way it is quickly escalating someone may get hurt or worse.

ONE TEXAS COWBOY TOO MANY pairs two lovers against a town filled with downright nasty, vengeful folks. But Carolyn Brown has a plan. Just you wait and see. Country music, bars, church, and feuding—all important elements in this crazy, unpredictable latest foray into cowboy romance by the master. Grab a beer or a glass of sweet tea and curl up in your favorite chair with ONE TEXAS COWBOY TOO MANY.

SUMMARY

Carolyn Brown's New York Times and USA Today bestselling cowboys prove that love is bigger in Burnt Boot, Texas

She's got too many cowboys on her hands
Leah Brennan has always been the good girl of the Brennan family, groomed to become the matriarch of the clan. When a dark-eyed, tattooed, ponytailed bad boy saunters into her life, Leah knows he's off-limits-but his mesmerizing gaze makes her forget everything she used to think was important. As town-wide tension rises, Leah wonders if love really can conquer all...

And the whole town's taking sides
When Rhett O'Donnell roars into Burnt Boot on a hot July evening, the first thing he sees is a beautiful blonde. She puts a little extra giddy-up in his heartbeat, but when Rhett's desire throws him into the middle of a love triangle and a hundred-year-old feud, he realizes that winning his cowgirl's heart will be a lot more complicated than he thought.
