For Beluviel and Graydon ... two hundred years is a long
time
to hide their love. And Graydon, a gryphon and First
Sentinel of the Wyr has had enough of living in the
SHADOW'S END.
When Beluviel was the consort of the Elven High Lord, she
was drawn to the gryphon but so many things got in their
way. Especially a desperate bid to save her stepson from
the Djinn Malphas. With one horrible scene they were linked
but unable to ever be together.
Now with her stepson as the High Lord and she a widow, she
should be free to pursue her feeling for Graydon but
because of the pact they are still trapped. They must find
a way to work together if they stand a chance and in the
end they might save the Elven people from the same
evil. But as they work together they learn that two hundred
years have changed nothing between them ... their hearts
belong together.
SHADOW'S END simply proves that true love will not be
denied ... even if it takes two hundred years. Let me have
an
immature moment here ... WOW... WOW! Author Thea Harrison
can
weave a story like few others, especially with her Elder
Races series. I was intrigued from the first page and
thrilled by the last. Beluviel and Graydon are perfectly
matched; they were all those years ago and nothing changed
for them, just time passing. There is action, intrigue,
mystery and danger and of course add in the very steamy
moments between our hero and heroine... the perfect
combination for a hold you in your seat book. This is going
on my TRA (to read again) shelf and I can't wait to get my
hands on the next in this series.
The author of Lord’s Fall and Midnight’s Kiss
returns with an enchanting and sizzling new tale about
debts that cannot be repaid and hunger that cannot be
satisfied…
For Beluviel, consort to the Elven High Lord, and Graydon,
gryphon and First Sentinel of the Wyr, even the slightest
desire for each other is forbidden. But two hundred years

them indebted to the cruel Djinn Malphas, they found their
fates inexorably linked together—and the hunger between them
growing too strong to ignore…
Two centuries later, with their debt to Malphas coming due,
Beluviel and Graydon realize that, if they are to stand any
chance of saving their souls, they must once again work
together—this time more closely than ever before. But every
moment they spend with each other brings them nearer to
losing something even more vital—their hearts…
