A BAD BOY FOR CHRISTMAS is Book 3 in Jessica Lemmon's Second Chance series. I love this series, and each book only gets better. I don't think reading the previous books in this series is necessary to enjoying A BAD BOY FOR CHRISTMAS, but you'll want to because of how delicious they are. A BAD BOY FOR CHRISTMAS is a great book for romance fans who like charming heroes who pursue and woo the woman of their dreams.

I love A BAD BOY FOR CHRISTMAS for a few reasons. Jessica Lemmon does such a superb job of developing characters who are not only complex but ones you care about. Faith Garrett is a woman who has been treated pretty shabbily by her ex, so she's naturally skittish when hunky gardener Connor makes his interest in her known. I like the sexy flirtation and friendship that marks the early stages of their relationship. I like the way Jessica Lemmon decided to bring them together by having him act as a protector for Faith. They get to know each other a little better while he's playing bodyguard and it shows what a caring guy Connor is. Connor is the total package -- protective, strong, sweet, and very sexy.

Complex and interesting characters mixed with a sensual, flirty love story make A BAD BOY FOR CHRISTMAS so enjoyable. I like Faith and her hesitance about jumping into a serious relationship makes sense to me based on her history. However, I also like how Connor called her out on her fears. Although he's a few years younger than her, he is a little more in touch with his feelings than Faith is. Connor is an amazing hero and one of my favorites. He's been a soldier and has experience that's influenced his choices, without letting his ghosts cripple him.

A BAD BOY FOR CHRISTMAS makes a yummy Christmas confection. This is why I love Jessica Lemmon's books -- they're always a lot of fun, the characters are interesting, and the romance is always hot. I'm dying to see how things work out for Gloria and her rocker bad boy Asher. I eagerly await the next book by Jessica Lemmon.
