Romance Suspense

In FATAL JUSTICE, a Fatal series novel, Samatha is finally is getting one of the things she has always wanted in her career. Sam has been promoted to Lieutenant in Homicide. What better way to celebrate than with her family and especially her boyfriend Nick? After his best friend John, a state senator, was murdered, Nick is asked to finish out his term. Sam and Nick have worked out most of their problems. However, Nick is still worried every time that Sam walks out the door. She is called into work on another high-class murder - another friend of Nick's. While investigating, Sam comes across evidence that may help her find out who shot her father. If you love Debra Webb or Tiffany Snow you will really love Marie Force. There are so many twists and turns in this book. I found that I was just as excited to find out what was going on in Nick and Sam's relationship as well as what was going on with their work. I can't say enough about how I love this series. Marie Force shows you can balance love and business. Yes, it will be hard, but if these two can get though it, any one can.

SUMMARY

She looked into the dead face of the man she'd dined with the night before…

Standing over the body of a Supreme Court nominee, Lieutenant Sam Holland is hip-deep in another high-profile murder case. The fact that she was one of the last people to see Julian Sinclair alive just complicates things even more. On the plus side, her relationship with Senator Nick Cappuano is heating up—but it's also attracting a lot of unwanted media attention and blinding flashbulbs.

The pressure is on for Sam to find Sinclair's killer, but a new lead in her father's unsolved shooting puts her in unexpected danger. When long-buried secrets threaten to derail her relationship with Nick, Sam realizes that while justice is blind, mixing romance with politics has the potential to be fatal…
