Diana Palmer does a great job of making sure you are not kept in the dark about those characters that have appeared or starred in previous works so be assured UNTAMED totally stands on its own merits.

UNTAMED is an intriguing page turner that takes you to their shared past and then brings you back to the present. Both Stanton and Tat have lived their lives surrounded with lies and secrets. Stanton works in the world of merc's and survival. Tat was busy just trying to manage her life.

As UNTAMED travels on we find the paths of Stanton and Tat continually intersect over the years -- most often with Tat in peril and Stanton out to save her once again. Neither of one them chose safe careers. They both seemed to thrive in dangerous situations. But Stanton was built for action and he choose long ago to be Tat protector -- with or without her knowledge or approval.

Stubborn and smart these two just can't catch a break. Even when it looks like there is a glimmer of hope for some kind of future for these star crossed lovers it quickly gets extinguished.
