Andromeda Reynolds is being hunted. After witnessing her
mother's death at the hands of a pack of wolf shifters,
Andie has devoted her life to protecting her community of
cougar shifters from a similar fate. But a greater threat
lies within her own Dare (the name for pack to cougars)
and
she must run or become the forced mate to Kyle Carstairs.
That's not going to happen. Her only hope is to go to the
Keller Dare and seek asylum and she can not foresee how
far
ANDROMEDA'S FALL will be when she comes face to face with
A.J. one of Jaxon Keller's protectors.
A.J. has secrets that Andie doesn't realize. He has
already
been told things by a seer that he can't tell her yet. All
Andie knows is that he is incredibly frustrating ... a
challenge to her skills, her trust and most importantly
her
heart.
ANDROMEDA'S FALL is one book that you need to have mapped
out time to read because it will not let you put it down.
From the first page when the injured Andie jumps through
the window into the Keller home to the fantastic (I didn't
want it to end) ending, you will be enthralled. Author
Abigail Owen knows how to bring her characters to life,
twist a few secrets and pile on the action. Andie and her
mate (I'm not sure how to say his name without giving away
a plot twist so I will call him only her mate) are equal
matches to each other, keeping secrets but still managing
to learn more and more about each other despite them. I
especially liked it that her mate was able to accept that
she is a strong shifter who can take care of herself, even
if it does take years off of his life. The secondary
characters are amazing additions to the storyline and the
sexual tension hits just the right marks ... or should I
say
sparks. This book is on my TRA shelf and I can't wait for
more.
Andromeda Reynolds is being hunted. After witnessing her
mother's violent death at the hands of a pack of wolf
shifters, Andie has devoted her life to protecting her
community of cougar shifters from a similar fate. But now,
a
greater threat lies within her own pack, and she must run.
If she stays, Kyle Carstairs will force their mating,
seeking the added political power their union would
provide.
Andie would rather chew off her own foot than end up with
Kyle. Though, knowing him, she won't live long either way.
Andie's only hope of survival is to mate Jaxon Keller, the
Alpha of the Keller Dare with which she is seeking asylum.
But before she can get to him, Andie must first go through
A.J., one of the Alpha's Protectors. What Andie doesn't
realize is that A.J. has secrets of his own. All Andie
knows
is that the incredibly frustrating shifter insists on
challenging her story, her skills, her trust… and her
heart.
