Lucy Monroe rarely disappoints when writing about beautiful, wealthy people and AN HEIRESS FOR HIS EMPIRE is no exception. This is a sweet romance between two people who are really striving to make a difference in their respective worlds. Maddie wants to shake off her reputation, or more the one she is assumed to have and make a difference in the lives of children. Vik wants to make his grandparents proud and not be compared to his parents. I liked the touch of Russian tradition that Ms. Monroe brought into this book via the wedding, besides being intriguing, it was funny and very touching to see what Vik and Maddie would do to please his grandparents.

It always amazes me when "businessmen" put everything they have into the business and forget about family and love ... until someone reminds them that they have hearts and should use them. This is what Maddie does for Vik. And we get to watch as he goes through this confusing time as he starts to believe in love and forever. Lucy Monroe always manages to give her readers the happily ever after we are looking for and this one gives just that. If you like men who are alpha's but have no clue about their own tender side and women who are strong enough to stand up and teach them ... then AN HEIRESS FOR HIS EMPIRE will give you just what you are seeking. This one goes into my TRA shelf as I wait for her next offering.
