Trey Wheeler trains horses at the Last Chance Ranch and is looking forward to becoming a part of the ranch foreman's upcoming wedding. Trey loves music and is an accomplished guitar player and vocalist. He was previously rescued from a snowy accident from an "angel" and was never able to find the blond vision that saved his life, but clearly remembers her beautiful voice. Emmett Sterling is marrying wealthy Pam Mulholland who runs a B and B, and is going all out for her "late in life" wedding. They have reserved the entire Serenity Ski Lodge in Jackson Hole for a Christmas-themed celebration.

Elle Masterson is finishing up her position as ski instructor at Serenity Ski Lodge before spending the next 6 months in Argentina, also as an instructor. Brought up by parents both in the service and moving constantly, Elle does not form attachments. Pam gifted free ski lessons to all her guests at the lodge and Elle is teaching the beginners. Upon hearing Elle's voice, Trey immediately knows he has found his angel. Each feels an instant connection, ,which over the next four days escalates into a full blown hot and sensual affair.
