Most of the year Kayla Green can keep herself happily
insulated with the work she loves but when the Christmas
holidays come nothing can keep her loneliness at bay. When
she gets the opportunity of working a challenging account
tucked away from the reek of Christmas in New York City she
jumps at the chance. She counts on her well-honed focus to
keep her from jumping the all-too-attractive man who is
hiring the company to market his ski resort
Jackson O'Neil is a desperate man. He is fighting for the
survival of his family business with very few allies. The
people he loves most in the world would like nothing more
than to keep Snow Crystal Resort as it has always been,
maple cookies and all but without an infusion of marketing
genius leading to new guests it is doomed for failure. The
representative of a Manhattan firm with her experience and
savvy is his best hope, if only she can win his family over,
and if only he can keep his own desires in check and keep
his focus targeted away from the very attractive Kayla
Green.
With SLEIGH BELLS IN THE SNOW, Sarah Morgan is launching a
wonderful new contemporary romance series. I seldom
gravitate toward business-focused leading ladies in a
romance novel, because often they are portrayed with a hard,
humorless edge I find off-putting. With Kayla Green however
Morgan has given us a character who is both believable in a
successful career yet with a sense of humor and hidden
vulnerabilities that draw any reader in. She has also
created a fantasy-flavored maple-sweet setting rooted deeply
in the Vermont soil with Snow Crystal and the O'Neil
family. By the time I was midway through SLEIGH BELLS IN THE
SNOW not only was I a little in love with Kayla and Jackson
but with Walter, Alice, Elizabeth and the rest of the
family and family-by-choice surrounding them. Without
removing prime focus from Kayla and Jackson's story, Sarah
Morgan has laid a strong and intriguing foundation for the
other books in the O'Neil Brothers series, and they
can't be published fast enough for me. I am eagerly looking
forward to my next journey to Vermont, as guided by Sarah
Morgan.
USA TODAY bestselling author Sarah Morgan heats up the
season with the O'Neil brothers in a brand-new holiday
series!
Once upon a time, Christmas was Kayla Green's favorite time
of year. Now all the workaholic wants for Christmas is for
it to be over—as fast as possible! So when duty calls her to
snowy Vermont to close a deal with a new client, Kayla is
grateful for an excuse to avoid the holidays for another
year.
Jackson O'Neil left a thriving business behind to return
home and salvage his family's resort—it's in his blood, and
he can't let it fail. Now that he's got marketing whiz Kayla
Green working with him to put Snow Crystal on the map,
success is on the horizon. The fact they strike enough
sparks off each other to power all the Christmas lights in
Vermont is just an added bonus.
Kayla might be an expert at her job, but she's out of her
depth with Jackson—he makes her crave the happy-ever-after
she once dreamed of, and it's terrifying. As the snowflakes
continue to swirl, will the woman who doesn't believe in the
magic of Christmas finally fall under its spell?
