In DIE FOR ME, Katherine Cole is a woman with a secret and that secret is something that is about to come back to torment her. She was engaged to a man that turned out to be a serial killer known as Valentine and after witnessing his action in person she is now in witness protection. She hears about the death of a woman that fits the same m.o. as Valentine, and not about to live through it again, she goes to the police to tell them what she knows about the killer.

Dane at first believes she has something to do with the death, then turns around and decides she can help. He and his partner work to catch the trail of this elusive killer with Katherine's determined help. He's never mixed business with pleasure but something about Katherine draws him closer to her.
