Women's Fiction Contemporary

Strong and sassy Southern ladies are the focus of Pamela Ribon's heartwarming and heart-wrenching novel, YOU TAKE IT FROM HERE.

Danielle Meyers makes her annual trip back home more than ready for her yearly vacation with her best friend, Smidge. Instead of the cruise or road trip she was expecting, Danielle is given devastating news that Smidge's cancer has returned and this time, nothing can be done to bring it into remission once again.

So instead of a trip, Smidge wants to spend time with Danielle, training her, if you will, to become Smidge 2.0. She wants Danielle to step in and take over her life after she's gone. Plans that Danielle doesn't know if she is up for or not.

Written as a letter to Danielle's daughter Jenny, this story revolves around the two friends and the heartbreaking request to help Smidge's family deal with her impending death and afterwards.

Author Pamela Ribon tells this story in multi-layers that bring humor, sadness, love and hate together in a way that reaches the reader through the heart and soul of a tale well written.
