Pamela Ribon

Pamela Ribon

Pamela Ribon’s fourth novel, YOU TAKE IT FROM HERE, will be released this July through Gallery Books. Pamela is a TV writer and best-selling novelist (WHY GIRLS ARE WEIRD, WHY MOMS ARE WEIRD, GOING IN CIRCLES). She’s been in comedy rooms for both network and cable television, most notably the Emmy award-winning Samantha Who?. Pamela has adapted her popular novels for both film and television, and developed original series for ABC, ABC Family, Sony, and 20th Century Fox Productions. She’s currently developing an original television series for Jerry Weintraub Productions and Warner Bros, scripting an original feature for the Disney Channel, and creating a graphic novel with Emi Lenox for Oni Press.

Pamela was once an contributor, where her novel, Going in Circles, was selected as an Book Club pick. She’s known as a pioneer in the blogging world with her successful website, which has been spotlighted for Lifetime Achievement from the Weblog Awards. Her stage work has been showcased at the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival and she created the accidental international scandal known as Call Us Crazy: The Anne Heche Monologues.

She was a flagship contributor to Television Without Pity and was a weekly columnist for the Austin American-Statesman. As a member of the LA Derby Dolls she’s known as May Q. Holla, where she’s markedly less successful, but probably just as hilarious.

Pamela is a former Austinite with a BFA in Acting from the University of Texas. She has been entered into the Oxford English Dictionary under the word “Muffin Top.” That is not a joke. You can follow her @pamelaribon, where she somehow writes even more.
