Bar owner Kevin Kowalski steps in to protect a woman from a lecherous date, only to find out the man was her boss and she's fired. Needless to say, Beth Hansen is not grateful for his interference. Beth prefers to take care of herself and didn't need his help. Needless to say, she's not thrilled to see him at his brother's wedding where she is tending bar. Kevin in a tux, though, is hard to resist and she makes an impulsive decision to spend the night with him. She leaves the next morning expecting never to see him again. A month later, after peeing on a stick, she finds herself back at Kevin's bar to inform him she's pregnant. Surprisingly, Beth discovers Kevin, the man who is constantly hit-on by women in his bar, is more than up for the challenge.
Kevin, having been badly bruised by the end his first marriage, was just starting to think he might be ready to take the risk again when Beth came into his life. He wanted to get to know her better when she disappeared the morning after the wedding. Now she's back and pregnant. Kevin may have all he wants in life for the taking, if only Beth will cooperate. Can Kevin convince Beth they can be more than friends having a baby together?
I absolutely loved UNDENIABLY YOURS! I have been reading romance for more years then I care to admit and this book has everything I look for in a great story: rich characters and emotional plot twists that tug at your heart and leave you cheering when you get to the end. With a sub-plot involving Paulie the bartender and a lost lover, and the noisy and large Kowalski clan, there is never a boring moment in this story. I'm happy to report book 3, Sean Kowalski's story, is available as an ebook and the paperback will be out in March.
