"To Mate or not to Mate? A highly charged and carnal decision!"

Fresh Fiction Review

Navarro's Promise
Lora Leigh

Romance Paranormal

As an accountant, Micah Toler could easily control her world of numbers and balance sheets. With loving parents, strong friends and an understanding employer, the slim and pert Micah, always ready with a quick remark or a cheery smile, seemed to have it all. She could even conjure up lustful and lascivious thoughts of her friend, Navarro Blaine, the personification of male power, even when she didn't want to. His only commitment to her was to promise to keep her safe -- always. Surface images, however, can be deceiving and things can spiral rapidly out of control in minutes. Suddenly, the safe and controlled world that Micah and her best friend, Cassandra Sinclair (a unique Breed with special gifts and friends that let her vision into the future) are in serious difficulty. Caught by a deception, Micah finds herself in perilous and uncontrollable circumstances. How is she going to get out of this? How can she protect Cassie? Who can she really count on? Will their enemies be successful in hunting them and others down? Lora Leigh, a top author on the New York Times Bestseller list, has written another powerful and highly erotic saga of the Breeds, humans who have been genetically altered with predator animal genes. Longtime fans are sure to enjoy this exciting tale with its fast changing action and suspense, interspersed with highly charged and vivid descriptions of aphrodisiac and carnal matings. While the novel is stimulating and salacious and can be enjoyed by new fans, some humans may find it confusing at first. Given that, the author's brief overview of this series on her website (www.loraleigh.com)is not only helpful, but gives new fans lots of good reads to check out. Enjoy!

SUMMARY

In the middle of hell, as the Wolf Breed compound Haven exploded around her, Micah Toler learned the power of a Breed's promise, of Navarro's Promise. Navarro Blaine whispered in her ear that he would keep her safe and that he would never allow harm to come to her. Micah is fascinated by him, but she's fought hard to maintain her independence and she won't give it up for anyone. When Micah's life is put in danger, Navarro is tired of waiting. His years of training are nothing when he goes up against the will of the woman he can't stay away from. But Navarro is determined as well, because Micah is his mate and he will make her his - body and soul.

Re: To Mate or not to Mate? A highly charged and carnal decision!

Ummm, you might want to go back and correct the spelling of the heroine's name. It is Mica not Micah.
