Graeme Langford, long-time member of the Solomon Club and of
their elite group of Legend Hunters, has been searching for
the real Stone of Destiny for almost eleven years. He is
certain his canny Scottish forbearers were clever enough to
hide the stone rather than let the English haul it back to
London. Although meticulously fulfilling his duties as an
English Lord, his heart is in the land of his mother's birth
and he itches to don kilt and spend a good long time
furthering his quest in the area of Loch Ness.
Vanessa Pembroke has her life in order. She has found the
perfect candidate for husband, a scientist like herself.
Neither of them believes in love or passion as such nonsense
would only distract them from their goal of furthering
scientific discovery in the new field of paleontology. The
night before the wedding however, she goes in search of some
light reading and discovers her fiancé in passionate and
lustful congress with her younger sister. What's a budding
young paleontologist to do but pack her bags and tools and
set off to discredit the scoundrel's theories? She knows
bones have been found in the caves of Loch Ness. Proving
such physical remains are related to the legend of the Loch
Ness Monster would make her career and leave her erstwhile
fiancé with egg on his face.
Robyn DeHart has become one of my favorite authors. The
story lines are entertaining, and she has mad skilz in
settings and dialogue, but where she shines in my opinion is
in creating character. In TREASURE ME (book 3 of the Legend
Hunters Series) each of the characters from Old Maizie to
Graeme is believably and memorably drawn, but Vanessa shines
for me. Her steadfast belief in her own reality and stubborn
refusal to do other than she thinks is logically best had me
laughing my nethers off. The scene where she determines the
best way to remain in Scotland and pursue her search is to
seduce Graeme was classic.
DeHart has continued her series with a book chock full of
fun and adventure, not neglecting steamy, tender (and
sometimes hilarious) love scenes. Read them all, you won't
regret it.
The Legend Hunters . . .

and legends. And no legend is as captivating as the Loch
Ness monster . . .
Graeme Langford, Duke of Rothmore, has always been torn
between his beloved Scottish homeland and his duty to the
English Crown. Yet his is truly an adventurer's soul-and

Ness.
Bookish Vanessa Pembrooke heads to the Highlands to prove
the existence of the legendary beast. Instead she finds the
first man who has ever shared her hunger for adventure.
Soon Graeme and Vanessa are fighting a dangerous battle as
well as their own simmering attraction. As their passion
grows, so does the danger. Ultimately, they must risk
everything to keep the cursed stone out of a murderer's
hands. But can they survive without losing the greatest
