Event planner Sophie Winston is hosting events for her sister Hannah's (third!) wedding. Although Sophie isn't a fan of Craig, the groom (how could she be when he's so secretive?), she's determined to make this a wedding to remember. She gets her wish in more ways than one when the groom's ex-wife (from a previous marriage unknown to Hannah's family) is found murdered near Sophie's house.

Ms. Davis has written an engaging heroine with a wacky family that just might drive her completely batty. I really, really wanted to see Sophie slap down the irritating Natasha. Maybe sometime in the future Natasha will see the error of her ways. Or not. Give this one a try if you're a cozy mystery reader.
