Romance Suspense

Kaylie Fletcher swore never to return to Alaska, especially after she learns her family has disappeared after a disastrous climbing accident. Then she gets a late-night phone call insinuating that her mother is still alive, and Kaylie has no choice but to go and see if it's true. As soon as Kaylie arrives in Alaska, she meets handsome, hunky bush pilot Cort McClaine, who will turn out to provide more than just her mode of transportation in the cold, untamed wilderness.

As it becomes increasingly evident that a vicious killer is stalking Kaylie, Cort is the only thing keeping her safe. Though she's not sure just how much she can trust him, Kaylie realizes her only hope of staying alive long enough to locate her family is to rely on Cort. It doesn't help her tense dilemma that the more time she spends with the sexy pilot, the more sexually attracted she is to him. Is it just the life-and-death struggle they face that rackets up the sexual tension -- or could it be more? And will they stay alive long enough to find out?

Stephanie Rowe explodes onto the romantic suspense scene with this edgy, sexy and gripping thriller. From the very first page, the suspense is chilling, and there's enough sizzling passion between the two main characters to melt the thickest arctic ice. Get ready for a tense and dangerous adventure.

SUMMARY

SOMEONE IS WAITING Most people find beauty in Alaska’s austere mountains. To Kaylie Fletcher, there is only deathβ€”her whole family gone after a disastrous climbing expedition. Then again, maybe not. A raspy call in the middle of the night leads Kaylie to believe her mother might still be alive. For now… SOMEONE IS WATCHING A strange message in a bar. A bloody knife. A fiery explosion. There’s a killer inching closer, but Kaylie has nowhere to run. Except straight into the arms of Cort McClaine. The rugged bush pilot is too much of an adrenaline junkie to be considered safe, but Kaylie can’t resist the heat of his touch amid the bitter cold. SOMEONE WILL DIE Caught in a high-stakes race against a murderous madman, Kaylie and Cort know that with one wrong step they’ll be… iced.
