Still reeling from the murder of his sister, Dorian hates
the Psy with every fiber of his being. But when a Psy
target enters his crosshairs, Dorian can't pull the
trigger. He should be repulsed by scientist Ashaya Aleine;
instead he can't get the woman off his mind. Dorian is
responsible for saving Ashaya's gifted son from the Psy and
their strict code of Silence. Now Ashaya needs the same
kind of saving.
Just as Dorian makes up his mind to give the "Ice Princess"
a chance and maybe thaw her out a bit, he discovers she's
been giving safe harbor to a psychopath every bit as
dangerous as the man who slaughtered his sister. Enraged
and a little bit repulsed, Dorian is ready to back off
again, but this woman and her little boy have his
heartstrings firmly in their grasp and aren't letting him
go for anyone or anything.
Singh gets better and better with every book. Hers is a
fascinating universe; I've thoroughly enjoyed every visit.
