When I read your posting, it brought back memories for me. I had a Veterinarian who made house calls, and he asked me if I wanted to be his assistant. At that time, it would mean that I would have to go to school, of course, and I would just chuckle, but being an animal lover myself, I was starting to take the offer seriously, although English was my first love. To make a long story short, my Mother discouraged me from going to College at all, and I just grew up, and once on my own, was never without multiple animals, especially strays!! I'm thankful that my Husband feels the same way. Donating money to local shelters is a regular habit of my Husband's and mine. It concerns us greatly, since we are not in a position to donate our time. We already have enough animals in our little apartment, which were rescued, so we are also unable to get any more. I'm looking forward to reading your latest book, and thank you for coming here today, not only to share your love of animals with us, but to remind us about your latest book, which is going on my TBR list!!
