Mystery

The spin-chilling, heart-wrenching suspense novel explores a terrifying scenario that strikes at the heart of every family. Does a respected adoption agency have a frightening secret? Tipped off by a determined ex-colleague on a desperate quest to find her birth mother, Boston newspaper reporter Jane Ryland begins to suspect that the agency is engaging in the ultimate betrayal—reuniting birth parents with the wrong children.

For detective Jake Brogan and his partner, a young woman's brutal murder seems a sadly predictable case of domestic violence, one that results in two toddlers being shuttled into the foster care system. Then Jake finds an empty cradle at the murder scene. Where is the baby who should have been sleeping there?

It's a trail of twists and turns that takes them deep into the heart of a foster care system in crisis and threatens to blow the lid off an adoption agency scandal. With a killer at large and an infant missing, time is running out...

Re: The Wrong Girl

Sounds breath-taking!!

Congrats on your book: THE WRONG GIRL and I know personally
that I would love to read it and win it because I was
Adopted as a baby in Kansas and am slowing getting some
puzzle pieces of my Life to come to light. My Brother Jim
outside of Topeka, KS found out about me and never knew but
it was wonderful and he looked me in 1994 and came to visit
me in Austin, TX and visit me and my husband of 25 years. I
also got to meet my birth mother and grandmother before they
passed away and have met aunts and cousins and there are
still others that I would love to meet and get to know
better. Life is good and God is great! Blessings to everyone
and my advice is to Seek and ye will find your family. Never
give up Adopted Friends in the world. I found out that I am
part Irish too. How cool is that. I never knew when I was
young and now I am learning more and more. Praise GOD
always. Thanks and I would love to win. Thank You, Cecilia

Just from the excerpt, you can see the start of the twists and turns in the book. This is going to be perfect reading for the Summer-- especially on a rainy day. That would be the perfect backdrop for your book!! It reminds me of the cover -- misty, rainy, and mysterious!! Congratulations!! I'm sure that your book is going to do well!!

OK Adopted Friends: my advice to You is that with GOD all
things are possible and the Truth will come to light with
God's Help! Never ever give up! Get a DNA test, go to the
town you were born in and get the hospital records, talk the
Doctors and anyone else that can help You. You can have
brothers and sisters and aunts, uncles, cousins,
grandparents and others that need You and miss You. I will
Pray for all of You. God Bless everyone! I know cause I was
blessed in 1994. Thanks, Cecilia CECE
