What would you do if the memories of a previous lover would
not leave and that same lover frequented your bed, and,
more importantly, this lover was from another lifetime?
What if your desires would not allow you - to let him go? Monica is a 40’ish divorcee raising her teenage daughter in
New York City. She writes for a magazine and her life is
ordinary in every way, but one. She has vivid memories and
dreams of another life, another time, and another place.
Her name is Flying Snow Goose and she is a member of the
Dine tribe in northern New Mexico, in the 18th century. After questioning her sanity, Monica decides it was
something she read, or the vestige of some childhood
fantasy. But, then, he arrived. His name is Hawk, a regal
Indian brave, and the husband of Flying Snow Goose. Monica
could see and feel him in ways she could not understand,
much less explain to anyone else. Yes, he became her
lover.

Re: The Shadow of You
Reincarnation and living in a different time with a partner leaves quite a vivid image in my mind. (Alyson Widen 4:24pm July 22, 2012)
I am thrilled that you brought the subject up, and I hope that you come back here and let us know when you write the book about Hawk. I've heard about meditating to find out more about your inner self, and would love to read more about it. I find the subject fascinating, and always look at things with an open mind. That is what keeps us "free spirits." Best of luck to you. I'll have to read the book that's showing on the page today. The artwork is stunning!! (Peggy Roberson 9:09pm July 22, 2012)
Whatever spurs your creativity is good for you, and if you are writing to share with us we can all benefit. Good luck with your work. (Clare O'Beara 4:57am July 23, 2012)
Reincarnation is such a fascinating subject - sometimes I believe, sometimes I don't (don't know why!) - there are times when I am sure my son lived a previous life back in the 50s and 60s, though - but thank you so much, Brenda, for sharing this! (Felicia Ciaudelli 8:23am July 24, 2012)
I apologize for not responding sooner. I though I would be emailed when comments were posted, so my mistake. I'm going to hopefully address all of the comments so far. Alyson: Hawk leaves a vivid image in my mind also, sometimes daily, but thank you for saying this. Would love to hear what you think of the book. Namaste. Peggy: This book is about Hawk and myself, sorry if that was misleading for you. I will tell my friend, Mona regarding your comment on the artwork. It will warm her heart that you spoke of this. She did the cover for me. Namaste. Clare: Thank you for your well wishes. Namaste Felicia: Go with your voices in your head regarding your memories ofyour son. Good luck with your memories. Namaste (Brenda Iovino 2:49pm July 26, 2012)
