Brenda Iovino

Brenda Iovino hails from New York City. She now lives in Tres Piedras, which is located about 24 miles west of Taos, NM. She lives there with her horses, dogs and cats. Her daughter, Kryssandra is in grad school in Paris. Although, she has been writing since she was twelve, it is here, in the mountain of Northern NM, where she has been able to find her muse. 'The Shadow of You' is her first novel, but she has theatrical plays and short stores to her credits and a still unfinished screenplay. Her play, 'Come Again', found a home at Metta theatre in Taos and this year she will mount a new production, ‘That Irish Thing' in the Fall in Taos, at Dream Arts, a space she has created for live performers to show their work. Two of her plays are being considered in London and India for production, one of which is being translated into Hindi. She is presently working on a sequel to 'The Shadow of You' and although 'The Shadow of You' is based on true events, the sequel will most likely not.
