romance receives superlative interpretation by Renee
Maxwell. Her range of voices is impressive (even down to
Clara's cat, who has a major role in the story). Her
Russian accents are flawless. Her emotional coloring of
the narration through pace, tone and inflection is on the
mark. Maxwell's skillful narration even minimizes the
occasionally predictable dialogue and plot developments.
This is a treat for fans of adventure and romance, thanks
