LURE OF THE JAGUAR is truly hypnotic! The sexy Stavros was trying to keep hidden so he can protect any unsuspecting human woman from Hades. He should have guessed fate would have other ideas when he first meets up with Toni. Toni is intrepid, very confident in her ability to take care of herself, but then again she has never come across anything that she is about to face. Stavros does try to walk away, out of his fear for her safety, but it didn't work (of course) because the moment he felt her fear he was running to her rescue.
I hate to see the end of the Hades Carnival series, and was thrilled when author N.J. Walters took pity on her readers and gave us all seven of the warriors' stories. I did enjoy the epilogue where we got to visit with our heroes and the mates who rescued them for one final time. All the books of this series are stand alone but will lead you to wondering who is next, and of course wanting more. With the whole series on my TRA shelf I will have to see what else Ms. Walters comes up with. LURE OF THE JAGUAR is the perfect end to a really great series. Thank you Ms. Walters!
