The Immortals After Dark series has been a long-time favourite of mine. With its dark intrigue, spectacularly detailed and vivid worldbuilding and sparkling characters, Kresley Cole has really redefined Paranormal Romance with this series. DARK SYKE, the fourteenth book in the series, is simply romance at its best.

Despite being the fourteenth book in the series, Cole doesn't show signs of slowing down. Each page is rife with her trademark humor and eloquent writing style, making it easy to get lost in the world she has created. If Thronos and Lanthe's story doesn't impress you, then I don't know what else will. With DARK SKYE, Kresley Cole proves why she is one of my favourite authors of all time.
