Romance Contemporary

Restauranteur Summer Radcliffe now owns and operates one of the hottest 5- star dining facilities in New York City, leaving her little time or energy for a personal life.

Since she came to stay with the Callahans, Summer has always counted on her cousin's close friend, Payton "Sin" Sinclair. A sports marketing consultant, he's just as busy as she, not to mention his reputation for "no strings attached" affairs.

But now it seems like everyone around them is happily attached, including her cousin, his best friend. That shouldn't mean things have to change between Summer and Sin. Except her thoughts have been wandering beyond friendship for some time...

A DANGEROUS KISS blows the lid off their friendship, forcing Summer and Sin to consider what's important to them and where their relationship might be headed. To make things more interesting, Sin harbors a secret, even from Summer, that is wreaking havoc on his life. Summer wants to support him as he has done for her so many times, but he has trouble allowing her—or anyone—to be there for him in the same way he is there for his friends.

After reading Francis Ray's last installment of the Grayson Friends saga, With Just One Kiss, I thought C. J. Callahan, Summer's cousin, was my favorite romance hero. I was wrong. Payton Sinclair definitely is my favorite romance hero. Smart, steady and smouldering, Sin shows himself to be Summer's best friend and a stabilizing force in her life. But now that she's aware of him as more than a friend, Sin's presence brings a decided and heady imbalance. Ray's continued success lies in part in her ability to write strong, believable and desirable heroes who are always equally paired with their heroines. A steady, sensual buildup of tension makes the story of Summer and Sin difficult to put down. Following the transition of their relationship from friendship to more leads to a very pleasurable romantic ride.
