Paranormal Romance | Romance Anthology | Holiday

What happens when four amazing romance writers decide to compile a couple short stories? The readers' happiness, of course. Each short story manages to remain distinct and memorable from the others.

Lora Leigh's short story is the steamiest. The reader will be treated to a short story between Isabelle and Malachi, who turn out to be mates. They burn up the pages of the short story while they learn to love and accept each other. Isabelle is fiery and Malachi is implacable. The two's fights and banters will be appreciated by readers.

Kimberly Frost's short story ties into her Etherlin series. When the main character finds a ring, she begins to dream of a handsome warrior who is not from Earth. The two follow the Romeo and Juliet pattern to a degree; the reader will root for their romance throughout the short story.

Virginia Kantra's story involves the ever-popular angels. When an angel loses his wings while answering a dying woman's wish that he take care of her child, the reader will get to follow his story and his eventual relationship with his charge. The love story is sweet, there is a little conflict, but nothing overly large.

Eileen Wilks creates a story around the Lupi. The reader will get to view a family gathering and all the fun that comes with it. The love between the main characters is obvious and cute.

All of these stories will leave the reader happy. The reader has the option of starting at any point in the novel, each story can be reread quite a few times and still retain a little novelty. The stories do flow together surprisingly well.
