Ready for another great series from Sylvia Day! Angels
turned vampires and a cluster of lycans make for an exciting
new world for readers to explore. Adrian, commanded to
punish these fallen angels with a taste for blood while
leading the lycan pack, obviously has a tough job. It
becomes even harder when he discovers his long lost soul
mate. Lindsay, the mortal woman who possesses the soul of
the woman Adrian has loved for life cycle after life cycle,
was not blessed with even one memory of Adrian from her
former lives. This does not stop Adrian. He is driven to
make her see him as she once did in her lives from the past.
This book is a steamy angel novel filled with action and
suspense. The fight scenes made you feel as if you were
standing next to our hero while he was engaged in battle.
The love scenes contained the right amount of oomph to make
your toes curl without you even realizing it. A connection
to the main characters is smoothly develop due to their
likability. The reader will be rooting for Adrian the whole
story while he tries to convince Lindsay of his untiring
love.
A TOUCH OF CRIMSON is an exciting adventure within a world
new to readers. Angels are no longer the beings with a heart
of gold. This book shows they can have a dark side hidden
behind the wings. Duty and honor is expressed through the
community feeling delivered by the pack. Any romance reader
who is drawn to the angelic gone awry or the boys who howl
at the moon will love this book.
FIRST IN A NEW SERIES! CAN TRUE LOVE SURVIVE A WAR BETWEEN
ANGELS, VAMPIRES, AND LYCANS?
Adrian Mitchell is a powerful angel leading an elite Special
Ops unit of Seraphim. His task is to punish the
Fallen--angels who have become vampires--and command a
restless pack of indentured lycans. But Adrian has suffered
his own punishment for becoming involved with
mortals--losing the woman he loves again and again. Now,
after nearly two hundred years, he has found
her--Shadoe--her soul once more inhabiting a new body, with
no memory of him. And this time, he won't let her go...
I have read this book and found it an excellent read. The premise of souls moving through time until they get it right. I also liked that the better part of the Heroine survived and was loved for herself since she was actually the better person! And I must say the 1st time they complete "the act" in this reincarnation is one of the hottest I have read in a while. (Marcelle Cole 10:15am November 18, 2011)
