Re: Cowboy Trouble (10:42am April 3, 2019):

I'm already in the west and if I run any farther, I'll
land in the Pacific. :)

My life feels like a series of starting over moments!
But the biggest will be in two weeks when my husband gets
a new kidney. Scary, stressful, but worth every bit of
work we've put into this. :)

Re: Blown Away (11:53pm May 30, 2010):

It really depends on the author - some authors I can wait until the trilogy is finished (or ones that I came across long after they were finished, like the Lord of the Rings books) while others I have to have right. This. Minute. LOL

As for my favorite, I don't know... I love how R. A. Salvatore has taken his Drizzt books and essentially broken them up into several trilogies. One that I'm enjoying right now is Jennifer Armintrout's Lightworld/Darkworld trilogy. Love anything dealing with faeries. :)

Re: A Thread So Thin (2:36pm May 16, 2010):

Dude, wait... you mean they're supposed to go AWAY? LOL But more seriously, my imaginary friend turned into my very favorite character to write about as an adult. The best part is, my real-life best friend has grown up with me and my imaginary friend... so it's a lot of fun to still have them both around. :)

Re: Undead And Unwelcome (2:21pm June 15, 2009):

I love MJD, Sandi! Just a couple weeks ago, I went to a Laurell K Hamilton book signing... SIX HUNDRED people showed. Needless to say, I did not get my book signed. LOL But, let's see... I flew from Vegas to Dallas to meet Dakota Cassidy which was totally worth it. But who I'd love to meet? R. A. Salvatore, Beth Kery, Terry Brooks, Lacey Savage... there are just a ton in all genres! :)

Re: The Warrior (11:52am May 25, 2009):

I sure as heck can be, Sandi! Although, sometimes it can pay off. I once, on the spur of the moment, decided to buy concert tickets. Logged on JUST as they went on sale and got FRONT ROW CENTER tickets to see my favorite man. LOL And well, when it comes to book stores... I don't go in unless I know I can walk out with a fistful! LOL

Re: Comfort Food (12:32pm May 3, 2009):

Ya know, I always THINK I know what's going to be next... BUT then something else comes out, arrives in the mail, gets passed on to me... you see where I'm going. LOL There's a reason why I usually have 3-5 books going at any one time.

Oh, and I have to say - it's SO MUCH easier to go through a TBR list on your Kindle than on a bookshelf! LOL

So, I'm reading THE GREATEST KNIGHT by Elizabeth Chadwick and also DANCING WITH WEREWOLVES by Carole Nelson Douglas. Next up is MAN AFTER MIDNIGHT by Devyn Quinn and A IS FOR ALIBI by Sue Grafton. OH, and usually the only thing that can derail my reading is my kids! LOL

Re: Obama (7:56pm January 18, 2009):

I love biographies, but tend to stick to those about people who are already dead. LOL I just love to learn about people and their lives. :)
