Penny, the Franciscan apple pattern dishes? Love them!

Bells and eggs and jewelry boxes -- all delightful ideas!
Teacups, t-shirts, and candles -- what a great variety.

And yes, I think books are a given with this crowd!

Re: Butter Off Dead (3:16pm July 8, 2015):

Pam, I'm curious -- figurines of people playing flutes, or
of the flutes themselves? Either way, quite unusual. How
did it start -- do you play?

Re: Butter Off Dead (11:32am July 8, 2015):

Joan, you're spot on: Collections remind us of people and
places we've loved. They are the repository of our
memories.

Re: Butter Off Dead (7:55pm July 7, 2015):

Ah, Joanne, that makes me smile!

Marilyn, not many admit that -- you're brave!

Re: Butter Off Dead (7:03pm July 7, 2015):

Storage and display space -- and dust -- are the
collectors' bane, aren't they? Sharon, your watches are
the perfect collection -- just the right fit!

Patricia, 100 swan statues? You could open a small
gallery here in Montana's Swan Valley!

Thanks to all of you for chiming in!

Re: Butter Off Dead (11:40am July 7, 2015):

Love hearing about your collections. Peggy, I looked up
those dolls -- how cool! Ann, love pink Depression glass.
And oh, Darlene, the story of your daughter and your angels
hits me in the heart. xoxo

You all describe such sweet spots! Wish I could cozy up
with a good book today -- oh, wait, I am, but it's on my
computer screen as I work on the next installment!

Thanks to all of you for stopping by.

Re: Crime Rib (11:34am July 2, 2014):

Thanks for all the wonderful comments! Peggy, there is
indeed a cookout -- for two hundred people! And another on a
smaller scale, with recipes you can make to recreate the
festivities yourself -- without that pesky murder....

Happy reading -- and happy eating!

Re: Crime Rib (11:07pm July 1, 2014):

Thanks to you all for stopping by! It's a beautiful day out
here in Montana and I hope you can all visit soon -- in person
or on the page!

Re: Crime Rib (4:11pm July 1, 2014):

Thanks to you all! I wish I could take credit for the
brilliant title -- the publisher came up with it, and I think
it's perfect!

Re: Death Al Dente (9:31pm August 3, 2013):

Thanks for all the varied perspectives on home. What is "home" is as varied as we are! Thanks for commenting, and for your interest in Death al Dente.

Thanks so much for all your comments -- love hearing different perspectives on "home." Ultimately, we make it ourselves, don't we?
