I usually look for light, just too much dark and strange in the world and a light romance will pick me up.

I collect things my son has made for me. Even at 22, he still will give me something like a picture he has sketched or a small poem.

My favorite unexpected "gift" was getting to see my son for Christmas last year. He had stated a new job and didn't think he could be home but showed up bright and early Christmas morning.
