Re: Renegade (3:07pm November 6, 2012):

Oh, I remembered a first date that I really regret. I was asked to see a campus production of MacBeth, but was later asked to see Peter, Paul, and Mary LIVE by a really cool guy I had a crush on.

My mother taught me well. Although I could've lied, I missed the cool concert for MacBeth. Guess that's why I became an English teacher

Re: Renegade (3:04pm November 6, 2012):

Great post, Nancy, and congratulations on your debut release.

First "date" or meet? Jane Eyre being run off the road by Rochester's horse has got to be one of the classics.

Every fall when I taught school I felt like starting a new semester was like a first date: you don't know the kids, they don't know you, and the "rules" might be a little muddy!

Re: Deadly Little Lies (4:17pm September 18, 2012):

Great post, Jeanne! I have many favorites and among them are the ones I taught (which most people probably hate LOL). A Separate Peace is lovely and I still enjoy reading Lord of the Flies over and over.

Among romance, however, my read again and again go-to writer is JD Robb's In Death series.

Re: Money Shot (6:19pm June 10, 2011):

Great post, Susan! Your posts are all witty banter and snappy dialogue. Love it!

Hmm, what floats my boat? I suppose it's unique style and a comand of language in whatever form it takes. I like reading for the journey as much as for the destination.

Re: The Wild Irish Sea (6:37pm July 8, 2010):

Hi, Cindy!

I just had to pop over from the Romance Bandits Lair to say whoooooppppttteeee on the release of your third book. I adore the Irish hero and Amber's smartass brother. When, oh, when am I going to read HIS book?? Hmmmm.

I got to read this book in manuscript form so I can assure everyone you're in for a delightfully dangerous read.

Re: Captive of Sin (8:45pm November 24, 2009):

Hi, Anna, I've just begun reading Captive of Sin and I certainly can see why you're in love with Gideon! I think women really buy into that man of honor persona; it reminds us of the men in our lives that we love -- husbands, sons, fathers.

Re: The Treasures Of Venice (10:39am August 27, 2009):

Hi, Cindy, love hearing your Call story. It still gives me chills. Congrats on your latest release. I've read it and promise it's a keeper!
