Zoë McNamara has been fantasizing about Jed Calhoun since she first met him. Deciding the only way to get him out of her system is to sleep with him, she proposition him. Jed Calhoun doesn't understand what his attraction is to Zoë; she's not his type at all. Besides, it wouldn't be fair to her to act on his attraction when he's considered a dead man. But when Zoë makes the offer, who's he to refuse.

Depressed that Jed hasn't called since they made love, Zoë has a girl's night out at with some friends. She notices a man who has many of Jed's characteristics, and when he looks at her, she feels an undeniable attraction to him. Feeling he might have put his friends in danger, Jed dons one of his many disguises and becomes Ethan Blair. But when he has to have some information passed to Zoë, he's forced to let her meet Ethan in order to retrieve it. After running from thugs, they end up in Ethan's hotel room. Zoë can't believe she's so attracted to Ethan after having made love to Jed only two days prior. However, she just can't seem to say no to spending one night with Ethan. Jed is a little jealous of himself, but Zoë has become a constant fantasy and he can't get her out of his mind.

When Zoë wakes up alone, she discovers the note that was passed to her for Jed is missing. She assumes Ethan took it and used her to get it. Going to one of Jed's friends is the only way she knows how to contact him. After washing Ethan away, Jed is surprised to find Zoë in his friend's apartment and once again is unable to keep his hands off her. Zoë realizes that she loves Jed, but she also discovers that he is Ethan. Jed has to make Zoë understand why he deceived her and why her life is now in so much danger. After making plans to clear Jed so he can live a normal life, Zoë is the one who has to get the information. Jed is not happy with the plan but finally agrees. Unfortunately Jed might have realized too late that he loves Zoë and wants her in his life forever.

TWO HOT is just what the title says -- hot! The characters sizzle for each other and act on their desires. Throw in a good mystery and you have an awesome story. I definitely think this is story to read. I also had the opportunity to read the Gibbs' sisters stories, (THE DARK, THE FAVOR and THE PROPOSITION) who have ties to TWO HOT. They are also in the Harlequin Blaze line and all worth reading.
