Ms. Spear’s knows how to build a world and reacquaint her readers with characters from past offerings in her series. This is the eighth in the Highland Wolf series, but it can be read as a standalone without any trouble – as THE WOLF OF MY EYE is centered on the new couple with the support of past characters.
