Maelle and Marie are two ancient vampires – child and maker – who use Lizzie and the reservation as their battleground. Two crazy vampires, a future mother-in-law who hates her, the wild magic, the Fenna (who loves her unborn daughter and she thinks herself not so much) are things she can deal with but, when one of the crazy vampires does the unthinkable Lizzie has been pushed way too far! No matter how strong or evil you think you are you don’t want to tick off a pregnant witch!

Sadly, all good things must come to an end and the Lizzie Grace series is ending with SHADOW’S END. Fans of this series know that Lizzie and Belle ran away from the husband Lizzie’s father had forced her to marry at only sixteen, were chased from one town to another, settled at the Faelan Werewolf reservation, found wild magic, and had other amazing reservation witches join them (including a cousin who is in love with Belle). Oh – and yes, we have seen a romance where a stubborn werewolf Aiden O’Connor did not want to let bloom (he planned to mate with another werewolf, sometime in the future, not a witch) but bloom it did.

Now a pregnant Lizzie has to survive the vampire war. The demands of the wild magic especially the Fenna (we learned about them in Killer's Kiss) who want Lizzie to go into the well that Aiden’s sister, Katie, is linked to. She does and that changes things for Katie, which in turn helps Lizzie as she battles the vampires. You will have to read SHADOW’S END to find out what happens.

The characters in all of Ms. Arthur's books always feel realistic with loves, hates, fears and troubles that could be felt by anyone. Add in the witches, magic, shifters, vampires and strange often violently evil creatures and you have this world.

SHADOW’S END will have you smiling, laughing out loud, angry, and with your heart in your throat as you blast through the pages. A series that is well-written and exciting – SHADOW’S END has the perfect ending as we watch the couple that should not have fallen in love get married.
