Elizabeth finds herself in America and works hard to beef herself up, so she is never again a victim. As part of getting answers, she goes to Savich and his wife, a very pregnant, Sherlock to ask them for help and MI5 and the F.B.I. come up with a plan. Part of the plan is for Special Agent Rome Foxe to join the group as her bodyguard. Rome is not happy at first when he hears who he is babysitting and immediately gets the wrong ideas. He learns quickly that she might be an aristocrat but now she knows how to handle what comes her way. Readers will be surprised at the unexpected twist that ends this part of FLASHPOINT. The Navarro storyline is woven differently as Autumn and Tash learn more about their psychic abilities and the F.B.I get involved in the embezzlement. I have to say that this part does not put the agents in a very flattering light as they arrest Rebel and try to get him to confess. It takes his ingenuity, luck and a couple of young psychics to get to the truth. I admit that I did solve this storyline early – it’s part of why I love to read mysteries such as FLASHPOINT. Though I had the answer of who the culprit was Ms. Coulter was able to throw in a couple of unexpected twists that I did not see coming. Oh, and Sherlock has her baby.
