Lizzie returns from the horror she had dealt with concerning her family and her ex’s family in Canberra to her home in Castle Rock and the world she now belongs. Lizzie tries to get back to normal, but the world of a witch and wild magic is never normal--especially with the fact that she is carrying the ranger’s child... Liz is caught up with trying to keep a vampire war from happening, quieting the wild magic, and seeing her lover, Aiden finally get his act together.
In no time, Lizzie, Belle, the pseudo-grandfathers Ashworth and Eli, as well as Belle’s fiancé and Aiden have their hands full with missing people, a monster worm creature, and fighting vampires. It seems that the vampire Maelle Defour with whom Lizzie has a rather uncomfortable relationship (read DEADLY VOWS to learn more about that) has quite a history with and is a danger to the town, the reserve, and everything that matters to Lizzie.
KILLER’S KISS is full of action, harrowing danger, drama, and even some sweet moments. Faithful readers get to see into Aiden’s thoughts more and what his plan has been all along. It would have helped had he been a bit more communicative. There is a lot that happens in this book that will bring a sigh of relief, but other moments will have you wondering “Wait- what?”
Author Keri Arthur gives her readers the most amazing action-packed, emotional reads and KILLER’S KISS is absolutely one of her best. Ms. Arthur always gives her readers a sense of family – not necessarily those of blood – a strong romance, danger, and intrigue. All to make the readers feel as if they are escaping into this world and getting caught up in these lives as if they are real.
If you like paranormal reads that give you a good steamy romance, some jealous anger, thrills, and intrigue then KILLER’S KISS is the one you will want to get your hands on.
An ancient vampire has returned to Castle Rock,
and with her comes an even older evil intent on revenge...
After tumultuous events in Canberra forced Lizzie Grace
to confront her demons-literal and figurative-she returns to
Castle Rock, hoping the stalemate with Aiden O'Connor can
finally be resolved.
Of course, for that to happen, she first has to talk to
the man, and Lizzie is fighting a major case of cowardice.
But cowardice holds no weight against the force of evil,
and this one has a specific target in mind-Maelle Defour,
the vampire Lizzie has an uneasy relationship with.
As Aiden steps up to fight for everything he wants-
including Lizzie-darkness is unleashed on the reservation.
One that can turn those who look at it into stone.
But the greatest threat to Lizzie might not be the demon
or the vampires creating bloody chaos, but the wild magic
itself.
Because the wellspring is out of control, and the only
way to stop it is to invoke an ancient ritual.
One that might kill the precious child she carries.
