It doesn’t take long for Seth to want to do more than have her guard his body – he wants to do things to her body.
Harley is very good at her job and very serious about keeping Seth protected. Too bad that despite everything she knows to do, her heart is starting to get involved. That isn’t supposed to happen. Facing danger is one thing but facing danger with a man who is stealing your heart is so much something else.
HOW TO CON A CRIME BOSS is the third of author Cynthia Eden’s Wilde Ways: Gone Rogue series. It easily reads as a standalone novel because anything needed to make it make sense is explained along the way. Seth and Harley seem like a couple that shouldn’t even like each other. In fact, it certainly feels that way at first. But as the storyline flows on so do the feelings that grow bit by bit. The intimate scenes are passionate but not overly prolonged or graphic – just the right heat.
The secondary characters in HOW TO CON A CRIME BOSS are varied and some you will love and others you will hope they get theirs and – oh, sorry that would be considered a spoiler. Suffice it to say family, friends, lovers, and others work together in this offering. Though sometimes you aren’t sure exactly who are the real bad guys. With all the lies and manipulations who is friend and who is foe?
A well-written, easy-to-follow storyline but with enough danger, twists, turns, and intrigue to please the adventurous audience and more than enough romance to please those who want love and happily ever after. You will find everything you could possibly want in HOW TO CON A CRIME BOSS!
