"Great addition to this romantic suspense series"

Romance Suspense

TARGETED IN SILVER CREEK is part of the Silver Creek Lawmen: Second Generation series. This book stands on its own but is still a notable part of a terrific series by Delores Fossen.

TARGETED IN SILVER CREEK is an action-packed mini drama filled to the brim with a host of certifiable intriguing characters who seem to switch places throughout the book. Armchair detectives will get their share of challenges with this batch of folk that candidly easily switch from victim to culprit. There are even some moments when you begin to suspect about everyone. That is designed by Delores Fossen to keep you on your toes.

As in all of this series, there are plenty of facts and circumstances as well as relationships to uncover. I had my eye on a few candidates for the head of the bad guys, but I missed the boat entirely.

In this small town with a munition militia in their midst, Jesse Ryland and much of his brood are lawmen or retired lawmen. They have been working diligently trying to ferret out the leader of this dangerous group. The list of suspects was exponentially huge and ever-changing. And now the danger comes homes and hits Jesse on a very personal level.

Jesse has a young baby Evan whom he fathered during a short fling with Hanna. There is some bad blood between the Ryland and Kendrick families. And Hanna’s mother is hell-bent to keep Jesse away from her daughter and grandson.

Delores Fossen does an amazing job of supplying just the right amount of intel to keep you in on the hunt for the militia group leader, but she also provides insight into the personal lives and relationships. Remember Silver Creek is a small town, and the folk are close.
